A Neapolitan expat who has always been passionate about restaurants.
After graduating from the Cavalcanti Hotel School in Naples, he moved to Bologna in 1996, where he decided to stay. In 2005, he arrived in San Giovanni in Persiceto.
In 2022, he left his permanent job to finally realize his dream: opening his own business. Today, he's here, at home, surrounded by people, pots and pans, flavors, and aromas!
Simone
Persicetano DOP, but shy by nature!
It is said that Simone agreed to join the Polipo Rinchiuso brigade only because… there is a back exit!
With over 40 years of experience in the kitchen, he has a lot to teach and even more to tell.
Just fish? No way!
His ragù is the staff's favorite, and let's not even talk about his legendary streghette… which rival the best bakers in the country!
Razel
From Bangladesh with courage!
Razel arrives in San Giovanni in Persiceto after two years away from her homeland, Bangladesh. Upon arrival, she meets Bob and immediately begins a collaboration.
A hard worker and father of two, he is determinedly building his future.
He's learning Italian... even if, sometimes, not exactly "textbook" Italian!
Maurizio
Born in the legendary Bolognina, where cooking is almost a religion, he soon discovered that between a recipe and a fishing trip, life is decidedly more flavorful.
After spending seasons in the kitchen with Chef Simone, he finally landed at Polipo Rinchiuso. Here, between octopus and conversation, his new adventure begins.

Behind this great team is Bob's family, who every day supports (and puts up with!) the crazy world of catering.
Kate, an employee during the day, dreams of bringing order to the living room and kitchen with a nice Excel file.
Rebecca She is the queen of cheerfulness and chatter, both in the kitchen and at the table.
